What gun is that in this vid?

M-23 Katana, which is actually one of the easier shot guns to max out. It's not that good, but :

Probably the best balance of weight and damage is the M-22 Eviscerator. It's Uncommon, so not as easy to get, but also not as hard to max out as the Rare or Ultra-Rare heavy hitters like the M-300 Claymore or the Wraith:

Oh and that's on my Level 9 Vanguard. Both give 200% Recharge at Level 20.

I like the Katana X, I don't even use shotguns but the few times I do its a good combination with a Krogan Vanquard thats using both Barrier and Biotic charge when you think about the slowed cooldown.

Just got the new Sniper Rifle and Shot Gun. No new characters.

I'll report back with how they are, if you guys get the other gun (Assault Rifle) or any of the characters, drop some info.

I got the new Reegar shotgun and let me just say that its rape status. It strips any protection off an enemy in a second. Seriously all ive been doing is running up to Banshees and wiping out their barrier as soon as they appear. You can laugh at Phantoms with this. Any lesser enemy is just toast. Only bad thing is the ammo is low so you need to know where every ammo cache is.

Ive been running a batarian soldier with that weapon and its overkill. I also got the Ex-Cerberus Vanguard but i havent learned how to use him yet.

I also got that Cerberus Harrier assault rifle. Its the same deal, tons of damage but low ammo. Not as good as the shotgun though.

The Sniper Rifle is pretty nice, it's basically a mini-missle launcher. The aiming is kinda weird though because it auto-zooms in as the enemy moves away from you, or something like that. Kinda disorienting.

The Shot Gun is fukking silly. As Sheff said, it's awesome. It don't feel like a Shot Gun, it just shoots a beam of energy until you release the trigger or until you need to reload.

The new map Firebase Jade is kinda blah. Firebase Goddess is though.

They are stingy with the assault rifles. I have shotguns and snipers out the ass but was rolling with the Avenger X until earlier today. My best advice would be to play silver matches until you save up a ton of money. I had over 500k in credits and bought nothing but premium packs. Thats how i got my 2 new assault rifles and beastly shotgun.
