On the bright side, Wilmer Flores is hitting .303/.355/.457 in AA as a 21 year-old.

I'm hoping by next year June Julyish, Wheeler will be ready and Wilmer will be ready. I'm just hoping to GOD one of nieuwenhuis, duda and den Dekker can prove to be ok. Thing is where does Wilmer play, where does Duda play, has Jason Bay been thrown in the bushes and then see where either Nieuwenhuis or den Dekker can play if they can even play at a decent level (offensively mainly cuz den Dekker has a great defensive reputation and Nieuwenhuis wasn't terrible in the field).

I also have no idea what to think of Valdespin as a player.

Can we discuss how the Dodgers just acquired our payroll for the next 3 seasons in one trade? I honest to God think we might be outpriced on Scott Hairtson this offseason, and the Dodgers are just like "fukk it, we'll take Crawford too."

The sad thing is that we have the Wilpons forever. Selig and the Wilpons are friends, so there's no way they get forced out of ownership. Once Wright; dikkey, Santana, and Bay are off the books for 2014, our payroll is gonna be like 30 million At least the Cubs have a plan, we're just going to lower payroll while pretending that the Mets give a damn about winning.

havent been to a game this season. will be first time since 89 when i was 5 fukkin years old

tickets can be had for scraps, and i still have no interest. the only reason id even consider going is to keep my yearbook streak in tact (87-11, although i can buy that online at some point) and to get some box frites..

If they do end up getting some legit outfielder, I'm betting it'll be a right fielder or maybe a centerfielder. I still think Duda isn't completely a scrub, so it'll be a competition for left field next year between him and Bay.

But we arrive at different stages at different times

They didn't make a move until a week or two before spring training when they said Chris Young is coming back.
