Stop putting money into the pockets of these a$$holes!!!!
We locked up Niese longterm and will soon sign Wright. I don't even like the Wilpons, but you gotta start giving them credit.
The Wilpons are going to own this team for a while don't not go to games that you'd other wise enjoy just to spite them.
credit goes to sandy alderson and his team. i guess the wilpons get some credit for hiring the right gm for this team.
Knowing how little they think of the fans, from the ridiculous ticket prices when the place first opened and even now, from lame excuses for mediocrity, the obnoxious statements in the media, and everything else we have dealt with over the past 5 years from these guys, I'm not ready to put my hard earned money in their pockets. Don't get me wrong I would love to go to a game. I love going to the ballpark even when they suck, but my hate for the Wilpons runs that deep right now.

Everytime you watch a Mets game, they get money indirectly out of you through ads/etc. ALL OWNERS don't give a eff about their fans, so that's irrelevant. It's a business,so they would charge the most that they can get away with for tickets(peep Dolan and the Knicks).
Once again, this is from someone who doesn't even like the Wilpons. Good seats can be had on StubHub for $30 or less, if you wait a few days before the game to purchase.
Of course no team owner respects it's fan base but a good owner doesn't make it obvious. And you sell your tickets for you can get for them but with the prices the Wilpon's are charging they still aren't selling. They told the fans off in 2009 with the ticket prices and now fans are telling them off by not going regardless of how cheap you can get good seats. At the end of the day regardless of how good the team is, unless they have a revival like in the 80's, it's going to take a lot for the Wilpon's to get fans to trust them again and to get them back in the stadium. The Wilpon's overplayed their hand and they're paying for it now.
