It's cool we're getting another one, but it's clear the DBZ we all loved is done. Toriyama wants to make this a DB/DBZ hybrid with all the light-hearted scenes and comedy he's been throwing in lately.
That right there from the article tells me that it's gonna be another one like Battle of the Gods, which was a lil underwhelming IMO...

Yeah. I haven't watched the Gods one yet because the special before it (the one with Vegeta having a fukking lil brother) was so bad.

But honestly I think I'm just sick of DBZ now.
It either has to be Frieza Saga-good or I won't be interested.

Man I would be glad if we got some stuff like this. Peep the vid 8 mins in. Love that art style. The animation they're using for their new shyt is too bright and colorful for my tastes lol...Yeah. Always thought this animation was dope as well. Very clean and less stiff...

Let me guess. An even STRONGER villain that has yet to reveal himself is about to beat the shyt out of Goku and friends until a new trick and/or new super saiyan level is discovered and he's defeated.
Plus a new generation is getting into the franchise.

toriyama is the JK Rowling of Japan when it comes to rehashing...
With that being said they really should make some more sagas....not just for DBZ but some more for the original Dragonball....like a saga for when before Teenage Goku met up with Bulma and Krillin again(like him training in the wild before that last tournament)
and a flashback episode showing the training Tien and Chaotzu went through with Crane Hermit...
