Xavier talked about being depressed not being on the road and it had me thinking about the Jericho joke about never being home. Whenever a wrestler gets injured and they’re off the road A LOT of them have expressed the same thing about having all this down time and its kinda depressing and they dont know what to do with themselves.

It's a combination of being torn away from the life you're used to and just being a man. Any man used to working and providing is gonna feel a way when his way of doing that is threatened or taken away by circumstances beyond his control. I imagine that gets worse when your way of providing let's you travel the world, entertain, and is just generally something you truly love.

The Jericho joke stemmed from Jericho claiming to retire from wrestling to spend time with his family, but then he immediately went on tour with Fozzy, started making appearances on all of those pop culture VH1 shows at the time and then eventually came back to WWE only after a short while. So, he never actually went home to spend any time with his family.

Still need to check this podcast, is it good?

Still think Big E is a real potential star If pushed, I always thought Drew had potential from his first run and believed in him but Big E probably even more, he has the potential for humour too and is a bigger character, he has charisma and can wrestle very well. Travesty to me hasn’t been given a major push. I’m not comparing him to The Rock but I see him as a potentially larger than life figure that could connect with the audience if he was booked right and given a big push. If I was AEW and could take 5 wrestlers from around the world Big E would be 1 of them. They’ve wasted years when he’s been ready for a long time. I hope he get the world title he deserves, he has everything. Even has the look as he looks like a threat not to mention he has serious power, 1 of the strongest people in the company for sure. He’s someone I think a lot of people would get behind. It’s frustrating WWE are so late on things sometimes. It’s a shame to say but if he was white and could move like he does and had that power and background I believe he would have been a world champion already.

It's a great listen. They're always entertaining and it's only about an hour.

This has always been the truth,

Big E's better than everybody they've pushed the last 5 years, except maybe Daniel Bryan & Bray Wyatt

He's always been a very good athlete, even when he first came in as Big E Langston and shyt I knew he was good by the way he moved for a man that size, since New Day his big personality has come out while still being a great wrestler and been ready for a solo push for a long time now. Yeah Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt both well deserved too, Big E right up there too, no limits on what he could achieve if just given the opportunities, but he's not been treated how he should be. And people are probably gonna think or say I keep talking about the race point but I genuinely do believe if he was white and exactly the same he would have had much more opportunity. He's a legit beast, played football, was a power lifting champion, he has it all now in and out of the ring. I could understand when he first came in he had the physical attributes but needed to show more personality but he's done and had that for a long ass time now and still nothing. Some wrestlers who don't have anywhere near what he has get pushed much more, he's 34 soon, new day was in 2014, he should have been had like 3-4 years at the top already and we'd probably be looking at a megastar if he was given the opportunities, think everybody would have got behind him. He also have the vital ability in megastars to be able to up the levels of physicality when he needs to, he is an elite talent and should be treated as such. They just need to push the button and he'd knock it out the park.
