Song is cool. Drizzy killed the video.

The snippet went harder because the bass was heavier and the piano melody wasn't as loud. It had a murkier feel in the snippet that I liked I'll have to hear it in the club to see how hard it slaps to give it my final opinion. Otherwise this is kinda like Pop Style to me in terms of disappointment.

I knew Drake would come back in 2018 doing what used to work for him. Collaborating with other artists doing their sound/movement better than them. And use the popular flow (main stream flow and delivery) make it spin for his gain.

That's literally the sole young money music plan. Wayne did it, Nicki did it, Drake doing it. Go in on everyone else songs like Nicki did 2017. He tried escaping that formula last year because of industry backlash and fell flat on his face with bs/not releasing music anyone wanted to hear.

Now how is this gonna translate into an album. Last 3 projects came off bland and fit the same topic/narrative. I see another commercial project coming on the way..

Clear he got bored with no real competition & took the foot off the gas. That done now.

Based off these early drops, think the next project gonna be the magna opus Views was supposed to be. Some Comeback season mixed with Take Care & some radio hits.
