I chopped it up, i played with it tonight first on the pc then on the mpc, i found something i really like- i just need the time to put it all together, maybe saturday morning or sunday. i came up with more than 2-3 sequences which would all be separate beats but there is something i really like and if I can pull it off if I can bring it out it'll be super dope.

I might be able to do somethin with it. I've been doing crazy overtime and I stopped for 2 weeks because I was burned out my job is giving out 3 52inch tvs to whoever works the most for feb-mar. Come to find out I'm in third place. So I might work sat and sun...I don't want it or need it but it's bragging rights. Other than that I've been going home chopping shyt up Lil by Lil with the 1-2 hours I have before I want to go to sleep. I haven't had time to just chill with the shyts but I have the samples I think I can get rid of the snare, we'll see I'm gonna fukk with it. I haven't even put proper drums over it my damn self

yo i know the feeling. i'm actually working on some cover art for this new collab joint i just finished. i'm doing a painting, then going to take a poloroid of it, then take a photo of THAT. at least thats the idea... but i'll be doing that on the side, trying to get this music going on the 404 is my new nightly hobby. literally making beats in the dark with just the lights of the 404 going. it's hard work but somebodys gotta do it

It's nice I like it, the Drums do however sound a bit stiff like N B Wildin' pointed out, all around concept is nice. This is my type of Hip Hop tho, just simple concepts, I get it.

i worked something up to the flip but it turned out kinda wack. ill post it in good spirits, but i don't feel like spending anymore time on it tbh..
there are issues when i do a private track, so this might not show up, sorry!

My work life balance is fukked up right now and that's pretty much how it's going to be for a while.

I'm not going to sit here and complain. I'm on my phone but long story short what I wanted to do proper was run a low pass filter and isolate the bass from a section I'll post the times from my pc next time I get to it then there are some vocal cuts that are filtered and chopped then pitched and an instrument noise put in for melody. There's a snare that was isolated layered and filtered which worked great and with the filtered bass the freedom to add kicks however.

Had the original on repeat throughout Friday and when it came to Sunday I just had to get my hands on it nd flip it. Finished it on the same day pretty much which is a rarity for me, everything just flowed well though. Just tweaked and added the last bits today, let me know what yall think, critique much appreciated
