Not that big of a fan but I do know that they signaled a big shift in American culture for better or worse just like on our side it was NWA/Dre/Snoop who signaled the big shift in black American culture or at the very least played a big part in it.

The production on that album is godly and I'm not a metal fan like that

I was in Louisville over the weekend to see Metallica at the Louder Than Life Festival……. They played the Black Album in its entirety!!
Finally, got to hear My Friend of Misery.
That outro with the guitar solo is godly.
