Nah, France has a strike culture [1]. Sure, it correlates with discontent worldwide, but France has historically had class inequality. That was even what the French Revolution was about, not like us in the US which was over taxes and "British tyranny." This is business as usual for France. Worldwide, that's a different story.

The US doesn't have it in our cultural code that protest is the answer like it has been forever in France. We tried the striking shyt.
