Ah ya'll probably don't have a lot to Puerto Ricans or Dominicans. In NYC there's mad dudes named Angel I think it's a cultural religious thing.

Not that I know of. I know one Dominican personally but he from Wash Heights and married to this blk girl i know. It's mostly Mexican in Detroit. Never met a PR in Detroit

So I called this parent at my job. And I thought his child was a girl but was actually a boy. I never met a man named Angel before but doing some research in Latino communities its men named Angel. My mind is blown. Every Angel I know is a girl. Did yall grow up with boys name Angel? The ironic thing is every Angel in the Bible is a male.

That's their theory. The text calls him he. They could easily said 'it' but they gendered him he.
