I guess....but I'm pretty happy that there are 150+ episodes of The West Wing that I get to rewatch whenever I want

:wow: Yes.

If the West Wing was 13 episodes a season, I'd be highly upset

a lot of my favorite network shows were an hour/20+ eps a season

This. I do think 22-24 episodes a season is an outdated format & there's plenty of Network shows currently on the air that would benefit from only having 12-16 a season. At the sametime a lot of my favorite shows were network shows with 22-24 episodes a season, so it's whatever to me.

:mjlol: If y'all think 22-24 episodes a season is too much, I wonder what y'all would think about some those 90's FOX dramas that had like 30 episodes a season at 1 point.

I gotta give 24 props for keeping shyt hype even on a real time format. :wow:

The only time a long season would bother me is if there is uninteresting filler out the ass.

The irony within this post tho

outside of sports and news, I really don't watch shyt on the network channels. I dont' watch any of the scripted dramas or comedies. its' been years since I have.

I wish Mad Men had 20 episodes per season. :mjcry:

The reason why wasn't creative but economic. It costs to $2M to $3M per episode.

what do you guys think of this format? I really don't care for it. Cable shows usually do 13 eps a season. I think it's better this way.

It may be fine for half hour shows.
They pad it out to fill up their schedule as opposed to finding new shyt. Some of these episode you could skip and not miss a thing

Might force some shows to actually build up plots instead of exploding everything at once with it never to be touched on again...
