I do feel bad for Lionel Hollins, I liked him a lot as a coach in Memphis and he did have the Nets keyed in defensively, they just couldn't put up point (not his fault). Billy King tried to fix the mistakes he made but he made too many really bad moves that have essentially hamstrung the team and will continue to do so for the next 2 or 3 years. Giving Deron Williams a max contract and trading away Devon Harris and Derrick Favors and picks wasn't a terrible move in and of it self had Deron been the player we was in Utah. He wasn't. I don't even think the Joe Johnson trade was terrible as he was productive as we could have hoped for. It was the trade for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce that was boneheaded even if it meant getting rid of Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries. first off you don't trade of 3 first rounders now the Nets are going to be bottom feeders until 2020 at least. Mikhail Prokerov, who I initially liked does not know anything about basketball, with the rules in place you can't buy yourself a championship. We need to dump everyone we can pick up a few future draft picks back. Brook Lopez, Thaddeus Young are only players with any real value. I think we need to get a college guy as head coach give a 3 year plan and just sort of go from there, in going for the gold right away has killed the teams near future.

The Brooklyn Nets are considering hiring Bryan Colangelo for their general manager vacancy.

Colangelo has a strong track record in building contenders with the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors. Colangelo stepped down as president of the Raptors in June of 2013.

There is also a growing belief within the league that Prokhorov is leaning more on Sergey Kushchenko.

The Nets are looking for a replacement for Billy King.

If prrok hires Kushchenko :snoop:

shyt even hiring colangelo is a no no :smh: this guy is a fukking idiot
I could live with Colangelo, but he wouldn't be my 1st choice either

Would yall feel optimistic w/ Thibs in any capacity?
Eh, not so sure about that one. Thibs has a great defense mind, but his offense gameplans leave much to be desired. Plus he has a knack for running players into the ground.

I think I'll pass on him

Weaver was the guy I had in mind. I think he's the ideal guy for the job.

My ultimate 1st choice though would be to throw a truckload of money at RC Buford. But I doubt that will happen
