I fell off watching for a while and am now caught up through last season. I’m all the way in on this. Season 5 was so on point and I’m hoping that they do more with that earth bound squad like a spin off or something. And the last eps when the ship transformed took me back to the first time watching Robotech as a kid :wow:

first two episodes are trash
episode 3 showed some improvement
on ep4 hopefully it maintains the pace.

Must say binged last night.
SMH how can you build up to that climax and have no fukking payoff.

This is again what happens in the age of PC and intersectionality.
They can't have Haggar be a villain, she has to be a "hurt mother" who needs forgiveness. SMH
Think about this, Lothar was deemed evil enough to be killed because he enslaved a few Altaians for his purpose to reach the time/space rift to get ultimate power.
Zarkon is evil and deserves death because he destroyed his own planet had conquered galaxies.
Hagar/Horun destroyed entire strings of existance, entire universes and timelines, she destroyed everything in existance except one timeline and because she is a female the writers present it to us as though her evilness is acceptable because she wanted to see her son and have her family back.
Its a riduculous and a total narrative cop out, because the writers have a concept that women can not be truly evil who deserve death.

The "sacrifice" by Aurura comes out of nowhere, just like the relationship with lance so it has no narrative weight. The epilogue at the end for all the characters comes off as if a 5 year old wrote it. How Keith is able to even make a claim for the Gaira empire throne and flame makes no fukking sense.

The really funny part is Voltron merges with the Human ship, which is worthless entirely in the show and in the last season, but the captain of the megastructure, Shiro, has no input into what the mech does.

They kept recycling the lame, whoever is leader gives a speech bullshyt, and its repetitive and boring story choice to introduce your Dues Ex Machmima power up for 8 seasons and 3 times this season alone.

The power levels of Voltron fluctuates too much, Voltron has the power to escapt a gravitational rift but the lions can't escape the gravitational beams of a broke down stolen Gaira jet, when a lion alone was taking a pristine ship down alone the first season.

They have them abandon their bayards and armor when supposedly their bayards are connected to them, lets not even mention how the hell they even make a machine capable of scanning that.

Just a terrible season and total failure of a series finale that is so bad it negatively effects the who series like the Lost finale.
We won't even get into the homo marriage they add in for Shiro at the end. SMH.
