The only reason I have Disney+ now is because it was $1 more for it with the Hulu & ESPN bundle, otherwise I would've cancelled after the trial period ended. Outside of watching a few movies I heard were good (Up, Finding Nemo, etc) I don't have a need for it.
But I don't think it's fair (or logical) to claim Netflix is facing challenges due to Disney. In all reality what actually IS a challenge for Netflix is Netflix itself. A lot of people gave them grace when they started losing syndicated shows to other platforms because their stated goal going forward was to put more focus (i.e. $$$) into their own original properties. And yet popular shows like Mindhunter and GLOW are unlikely to ever return and they allowed once popular series like Master of None, Kimmy Schmidt, Orange is the New Black, Bloodline and Ozark kind of go off the rails to the point where people lost interest.
