He may very well be back in a few years BUT Im saying because of social media these things that happened years ago are being rehashed over and over and therefore allowing a collective type of anger. We now can demand action and have more of an impact on these people simply by keeping them in the spotlight and direct messaging them to hold them accountable. When the accusations first came against Allen and Polanski we did not have that. We were far removed from celebrities and only communicated when and where they wanted . Literally we would have to write in to people magazine if we wanted to comment (so they picked and decided what was printed) or watch professional edited investigations on news networks. Before if we wanted to address a celeb it was private in a letter to their fan club which would take months if you ever get a response (you wouldn't). Now we can directly and instantly talk to them personally on twitter and they HAVE to respond quickly for their rep especially with serious allegations. They can't ignore it now. It's different now because anyone can openly and indiscriminately state their opinions and voices without having to find a reporter or lawyer to mediate and water down their experiences. This is BIG. We have more power now to not let those things go away silently and that's why all these things are happening now. The ONLY difference is social media. So the jury isn't out on Allen or Polanski yet. There's still a chance they will get this social media fury again and face deeper social consequences than they ever have.

Spacey hasn't been convicted of a crime. There's no basis for a lawsuit.

Netflix initially announced they were cancelling it after the sixth season, which they were currently shooting. Now they've announced they have stopped production of the sixth season (which they should've done in the first place if they were truly disgusted by the allegations).
