First episode was CRACK

Love the actor who plays pablo

Edit: enjoyed the 2nd ep as well.

This is definitely the most graphic show netflix has ever done. There were 3 back to back to back sex scenes and a gangrape and animal killings. I love it.

I'm enjoying it to a degree so far through 4 episodes there is definitely some things that stick out to me. The white cop character and his wife are incredibly boring to watch. Pedro Pascal is a good actor but it doesn't seem like he's been given anything interesting to do yet. I would've preferred it Murphy was just the voice over and the focus was on Pena. Better yet, I'd prefer no voice over at all.

The Escobar stuff is better but even there it seems like a lot of the story gets minimally touched on besides Pablo himself. I literally don't care about his wife or his brother at all. At episode 4 the voice over/stock footage/live documentary aspect of really started to highlight that and get a bit grating. A lot of stuff gets glossed over and just touched on superficially and it hurts the impact of the story. The scene in episode 4 where
the Palace gets over run and burned
is an example of that. I would've preferred if they actually dramatized it. That was probably for budget reasons though.

Still going to watch a least a couple more episodes though, there's enough there that has my interest and it could definitely get better.

First episode was a bit messy but still dope. Show reminds me of the movie Blow. Pablo and the Narco's story are amazing. The DEA's story not so much. 10 episodes of this might be the greatest first season drug story since The Wire.:ohhh:
