is anyone else wondering where the budget from this show came from? i know the revenue from subsrcibers must be :noah: but they HAD to have thrown a lotta cash at this to just be a netflix series

this barrage of latina chicks is :wow:

those first 2 in like the first ep where pablo was like "brazilians" and grabbed their asses :jawalrus:

The budget for this mustve been:whew:
A lot of the action was movie status. Almost game of thrones level cinematography. They must've paid these actors with literal :trash:

The white DEA agent is easily the weakest part of the show...to the point where I'm almost inclined to fast forward during his parts. Dude's not a great actor and is mad annoying to me. If they're goin the gruff, rude American angle at least do it with someone who looks like his lunch money wouldn't be stolen. I understand he looks like the real agent but I'm just :scust: at him pullin power moves in some scenes.

Also, my girl is a Spanish speaker and says Escobar's accent in the movie is made annoying. Now that I know he's brazilian it makes sense.

I read some of the reviews on Netflix and all the people of Latin/Spanish decent say his Spanish accent is absolutely horrific, unbearable, and damn near ruins the show for them:lupe:

Yup I'm spanish and it's bad especially since Colombians are know to speak the "fanciest" Spanish and Brazilian well they speak Portuguese and even when a Portuguese person learns Spanish the Portuguese accent stays behind only thing that saved dude is that he is a good actor

Oh shyt. I forgot about the dirt Griselda did. Intertwining her story in season 2 with the Ochoas could be real cool. Then it could have a storyline in Miami to work with as well as Colombia.

Just watched the finale. I'd say it was 9/10 season
- my biggest neg were the americans. Outside of the guy that spoke spanish, that story line took us away from the main story line. :shaq2:
Each episode felt like a movie, especially that first episode. The budget for this show must've been crazy. :damn:
The action scenes were really well shot. Great chatch phrases too like (give him lead)
And the women on this show:whew:
Much cheaper to film outside the USA and pay the cast
