Even if you want to believe Steve committed his crime, the state certainly didn't prove its case beyond reasonable doubt. There was no concrete evidence to convict Steve and I'd have to jump over a lot of hurdles in my mind to believe he did this without a doubt. I believe the initial jury count was 6 not guilty to 3 guilty, and the 3 managed to some how sway the other 6, based on what, I have no idea.

The most damning piece of evidence the state had was the edta testing that basically killed the notion of the blood being planted, but even the FBI dude was so much of an idiot that if I was on the jury I would have disregarded the entire test. How is he on the stand gonna say without a doubt he knew no EDTA would have been found on swaps he didn't test. :jbhmm:Breh was trying to be so adamant about that, that it just made him look silly.

Would happen to Brendan should get a lot of people fired/disbarred.

When he just started blinking because the lawyer caught him out :banderas:

I'm only through episode 4 and I don't know if Steve did it or not but what they did to the nephew is fukking sickening. The kid is pretty clearly innocent and a notch above retarded and you use the kid as a pawn to get Steve avery, how the fukk do you live with yourself
Hes no notch above retarded

Hes full on retarded :mjlol:

How can anyone think he did it? :dahell::dahell::dahell::dahell::dahell::dahell:

Supposedly he tied her up -- there's no evidence of any rope fibers in the trailer
Supposedly he cut her throat -- there's no evidence of any blood in the trailer
Supposedly they found her car key in his house after 7 searches -- there's no evidence of HER OWN fukkING DNA on her own car keys
Supposedly his blood was in her car -- only in a few weird areas but his DNA wasn't even found on the steering wheel or seat or door handle. So this mufukka supposedly bled in the car but didn't leave so much as a fukkin fingerprint ANYWHERE??
The test tube with his blood that exonerated him in the 1985 case had a hole in it and was clearly tampered with. This is supposed to just be a fukkin coincidence??

:dahell::dahell::dahell:

Not to mention the video of the cops manipulating Brendan Dassey in a 4 hour interrogation without his mother or lawyer present...AND THEN saying in court that they asked Brendan's mother if she wanted to be present and she declined......when she clearly denies this?

But yall gonna sit here and tell me that a sub-80 IQ mufukka like Steven Avery managed to "rape, slice her neck, then shoot her in the head" ... ALL IN HIS TRAILER...and he cleaned up so well that not a single piece of DNA evidence was found anywhere in the room?

Really?
Really?
:mindblown:

Somehow this mufukka was smart enough to dispose of all that evidence but it never occurred to him to crush her car...when he has a car crusher on site? No, he leaves that shyt out near the entrance of his own property with a couple of branches around it?

:mjlol:

Agree totally. It's not like Dexter was out on Showtime yet. Steve Avery didn't have the blueprint on how to murder someone and not leave any blood evidence.

I just don't see how anyone can think he's a criminal mastermind who knows how to make sure no DNA is found anywhere, but at the same time dumb enough to leave damning evidence like the car and her bones on his property. He's either one or the other. You can't be both, brilliant at committing a crime and dumb at committing a crime.

Episode 9 where they have Brenden on the stand. When the lawyer was asking him about what book he's ever read that describes rape and murder. I wasn't expecting him to actually give a name of a book. I don't think the lawyer was ready for that too. Was probably looking at him like :dwillhuh: damn this boy slow

Been a few weeks since finishing it, still find myself reading up on this every day. Had to check back into the thread.

Strang and Buting were seriously those dudes. God damn all-star duo/tag team champs right there :wow:. Being in the field myself, was incredible to watch them put in work, Strang especially. You know those crooked cops were shook the entire time.

And they clearly killed it if the Jurors initially had a 9-3 vote going. Would pay anything to see what the fukk happened in deliberation that caused it to swing all the way back around. At first I couldn't understand how relatives of the Sherriff's department could be selected as Jurors but after hearing Strang's explanation on his Facebook Q&A, I get it (didn't know you only had a certain amount of people you could strike out.) Can only imagine the folks they had to remove instead.

Part that still really gets to me is the license plate scene. I just can't fathom how that wasn't a bigger deal and not a bigger eye opener. Love the editing in that scene though... Strang giving him the :leostare: , the bass getting ready to boom when they do the playback as he gets caught in the lie. :whew:

Breh. That cop looked so fukking stupid getting caught in that lie. How on earth can anything he said he taken seriously after that. I hope Steven gets released some day as this is just sad as fukk.

Just finished the series ish was pretty good

Right now I got a feeling Brendans step dad and brother did it. Steven and Brendan are dumb as hell I don't think they could have covered up enough for them not to find had evidence on them.

That fakkit prosecutor Kratz wrote a letter to Avery asking him to confess so he can write a tell all book...

Dear Mr Avery:

I got your letter dated August 28 2015, wherein you tell me your visitor list is full, and ask if I checked out other fingerprints found on Teresa Halbach’s car, telling me that these people could have “set you up” for this.

I apologise for misunderstanding your letters from a couple years ago, as I thought you were interested in being honest about what happened and finally telling the whole story to someone. Since I’m the person who probably knows more about your case that anyone else, I hoped that you would chose me to tell your story to.

Unfortunately, you only want to continue your nonsense about being set you. That’s too bad, because you had ONE opportunity to finally tell all the details, but now that will never happen.

By the way, the difference between you and famous convicted murderers from the past is that they told their whole truthful story to someone, who then wrote a book about what actually happened and people got to understand both sides. I was willing to do that for you… but if you are going to continue to lie about what happened between you and Ms Halbach, I am not interested.

If you change your mind, and want to tell your story someday, please contact me.

Sincerely yours,
Kenneth R Kratz
