Netflix being worth$15+ dollars
it's possible, but if they really were being extorted and throttling customers; it would cost them money because subs would stop paying for the service. either way, the price will definitely jump. i'd honestly pay up to 19.99 for the service. getting hulu and netflix for like 16 bucks total has always felt like a steal.Real story is Netflix wants to raise their prices and this gives them someone to blame.

and go where? and if they decide to throttle down and ween customers off ideal speeds at an unnoticeable pace?
when most people are unsatisfied with a service and there's alternatives, they will exercise their right to use them. netflix isn't the only source for tv/movies. back when netflix streaming first came out, it was , i canceled several times over the years. but now it seems like they're adding new stuff monthly, along with their own studio producing exclusive content.
what are the alternatives?
look up xbmc. if you got a fast computer with network service it's legit....
what are the alternatives?
- cable
- regular TV w/a HDTV antenna
- downloading all your tv shows/movies
- hulu, crackle, amazon prime, vudu
you make it seem like netflix is an absolute necessity
and what if the ISPs decides xbmc should pay up?
And when the ISPs bundle all of the above for one large fee?
