Nobody would fault dude if he wasn't cashing in under the guise of social justice while saying they're beyond kneeling without talking to Kap first.
I thought he was saying the movement needs to be beyond kneeling at this point, which i would agree, if he has a plan for action. But i haven't seen his plan so i can't say if he's genuine or up to trickery.

This is a nation of protest and all protests are welcome but eventually we need to get beyond the protest and into action (laws, votes, reform)

Right...and if Jay felt that way he should've said that before the deal with the NFL then it wouldn't look as bad.

kap and reid settling has nothing to do with jay-z
this whole situation of kneeling has nothin to do with jayz lol
you stans dont seem to understand that
how they decided to handle that situation has nothin to do with him.

he jumped into a situation that he had nothing to do with, said we are past the protest that he had nothin to do with it, and signed a deal to make his pockets fatter because of a movement he had nothing to do with but feels da need to denounce lol

not to mention 6 months ago he made calls to his peers to question(at the very least) why they were doing deals with the nfl. jay's a dikk rider man, hes roll with whatever is benefical to his image or pockets on that given day.
if wearing a kap jersey on monday and chillin wit goddell on tuesday works for his image, hes doing it.

c00n is too strong of a word, i wouldnt call him that. but hes definitely a sell out.
hes always been a sell out in a lot of ways but this takes da cake

if kanye did the same exact thing u guys would be shyttin on him.
You don't see any difference between MAGA hat wearing Ye and Kaepernick jersey wearing Jay?

As far as the bold goes, I can see that perspective. I disagree with it on the basis of "WE ALL as black people should want to be a part of and advance that movement." But u have every right to feel that way.

I bring up the settlement because I feel it's disingenuous to fault Hov for pushing the movement with the NFL BECAUSE of Kap. Specifically to those who are mad that he isn't playing in the NFL.

When you bring up moving beyond protests and putting in the actual work to change laws....that's when you call people's bluffs and they are revealed to be full of shyt.

Then do it....a billionaire with influence don't need the NFL to move to the next step beyond kneeling right?

No...just lay out your plan prior to accepting bread from the NFL under the guise of social justice.
Sometimes plans aren't formulated prior to taking action. Sometimes they're simultaneous. I think everyone can agree that the movement shouldn't have just ended with Stevie Wonder and them taking a knee and that's it we won. I think the foregone conclusion was always going to be, what's the next step to what Colin started. So your opinion that someone else has to announce their exact plan for what is gonna be next is disingenuous. Colin never said what his plan was except to try and get his job back. If that's all we're in this for then I guess just say that. I definitely don't support that bandwagon.
