Gregory Bush, a 51-year-old white man and resident of Louisville, Kentucky, shoots and kills two African-Americans — Vickie Lee Jones, 67, and Maurice E. Stallard, 69 —at a Kroger grocery store. Bush allegedly tells an armed white man who confronts him in the parking lot that “Whites don’t kill whites.” Earlier in the day, Bush fails to break into a nearby black church, in what appears to have been an attempt to carry out a massacre similar to the one in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015

MeShon Cooper, a 43-year-old black woman, is found dead inside a house in Shawnee, Kansas, after she went missing two weeks prior. Ronald Lee Kidwell, a 47-year-old white man, is arrested and charged with second-degree murder in Cooper's death. Kidwell's family describes him to local reporters as a white supremacist who draped himself in the Confederate flag and had a swastika tattoo on his arm.

White supremacist Benjamin Thomas Samuel McDowell, a 31-year-old from Conway, South Carolina, tells an FBI agent posing as a member of the Aryan Nations that he wants to commit acts of violence against religious and ethnic minorities. .James Harris Jackson, 28, is arrested after he turns himself in at a Manhattan police precinct where he confesses stabbing Timothy Caughman, 66, to death with a "Roman short sword" on a city street on March 20 after traveling to New York City to allegedly hunt and kill black men. Jackson, who is white, allegedly stabbed Caughman, who was black, as a “practice run” to kill others and deter white women from race-mixing. To Jackson, interracial relationships were "an insurmountable problem.

Sean Urbanski, a 22-year-old white student at the University of Maryland, allegedly stabs and kills newly commissioned army Lt. Richard Collins III a 23-year-old black student who is visiting the campus. Officials described the attack as "totally unprovoked." Urbanski is arrested on murder charges, and later hate crime charges are added after authorities investigate his social media accounts, which reveal Urbanski's connection to a racist Facebook page called "Alt-Reich: Nation." If convicted Urbanski could face 20 years in prison, though prosecutors have said they plan to seek life without parole.
