i remember buying that album. i re-listened to it a few years ago and i honestly didnt like much of the album, but songs like Country Grammar, EI, Batter Up.. still go hard as fukk.

I liked that first track. "You can find me in St. Louaay, where the gun play ring all daay"

All of these Magnum Opus joints are a good watch. Say what you will about Complex but they're doing something important, here.

Not surprised Country Grammar, EI, Ride Wit Me & Batter Up were his 4 demo songs. Those were BY FAR the best songs on the damn CD.

true. Country Grammar wasnt necessarily his "hit" but it was definitely the introduction and lead off to a long string of commercial smashes.
