He's coming along because he's playing next to Suh and facing single coverage. I have a strong feeling that if you remove Suh from the d-line it will instantly turn to shyt, eliminating the only aspect of our defense that plays with at least some sort of consistency.

The problem is that the Lions can't afford to pay Stafford/Megatron/Suh and field a good a team.It's not like I want Suh gone but it's looking like a necessary evil.

Every QB on our team is a game manager, problem is, our starting QB doesn't get game manager money. Thus the situation we are in.

I don't know the solution tbh. With Suh gone the d will be worse than it is now. And as long as Stafford plays the way he is now, the offense will always be inconsistent. He's much to erratic to carry this team. And I still find the coaching in heavy fault. To lose close games the way they do definitely shows a coaching deficiency. Clock mismanagement and bad penalties are 2 things we can rely on in close game situations, and those are coaching issues.

That's what I'm saying. I want to see Stafford with a real coaching staff before I give up on him.
