It kind of is what it is at this point. The brand name might legit be cooked for a bit. They may need to consider putting the series to bed for a while, and seriously retooling the gameplay. The series has basically been riding some variation of Most Wanted/Hot Pursuit.

I'm probably going to end up playing this once it hits the vault so I can play it via Gamepass and enjoy it, but I can easily see how folks could not be interested.

It's on sale for $40 at Target. I just copped it, but don't plan on playing until Christmas since I have some time off and I know this game is going to be addictive for me.

Same old same old for this or is it doing something more this time? I thought Heat was an unbalanced mess and the cop chases at night were awful.

The Palace Edition of the game is on sale on the PS store for $47. I just started playing it yesterday. I only played for a little over an hour, and it's been fun so far. The drifting is a little too slippery to me though.

Ok so I’ve had this for a while I am level 60+ in multiplayer. I have NOT played story mode past the intro yet

First off the game is on some bullshyt , the fukkery in some of the races is :ahh:

I’ve had over 6 people disconnect their game in one day. Which makes zero sense… you get money after each race even if you are last place. So the only reason they are disconnecting is cause they are mad. I’m talking unplug the console throw the controller type mad

And then you run the same map with the same group of people each session so it gets competitive and personal

I’ve had people chase me just to ram my car on the open map after races :laff:

I’m going to play this game but It feels like the yearly sports games that come out is what the nfs is now and unfortunately what can you really do to make arcade racers different
Cause it’s the same thing with forza horizon, at least the add different types of vehicles

I think they have too many cops on patrol. Once you get last heat level 3, as soon as one cop chase ends, another one begins because there's a new cop car right around corner.
