That's the mobile app. Last time, I checked the mobile Amazon Video android app only streams & downloads in Standard-Def. Not only that, I pretty sure you need an air mouse to operate it if you sideload on a android TV device.

When I said there was no proper Amazon Video app for Android TV, I meant an app that was meant for a TV device that you could stream/download In HD & operated fine with just the remote.

Bro, with the Android PC stick I have I control everything with my phone using the RKremote Control app...They make the Android PC sticks with tablet chips and my stream is in high definition...Theres no reason why the mobile app wouldnt stream in high definition especially with mobile devices now having HD screens

I can't recommend buying those unofficial Chinese Android boxes or sticks anymore.

Get a Nexus Player/Nvidia Shield TV/Razer Forge TV OR Amazon Fire TV/Fire TV stick instead, if you want a Android box.

Prime has some good shyt...some 80's/90's cartoons, it had the BttF Trilogy, surprisingly has some hip-hop docs (like Time is illmatic)...I would say it's stronger on the shows (especially older stuff) side that movies, generally. I watch more shows on prime than Netflix.

Android TV is looking like a flop ouchea (getting overshadowed by the chromecast), while new apps & games get announced almost everday for the Fire TV/Fire TV stick.
