Bianca Belair won the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks in the main event of WrestleMania 37 Night One, a match many have said was their favourite of the entire weekend.

Unfortunately, it seems a number of fans weren’t interested in watching really good wrestling, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that a noticeable amount of fans walked out before and during the match.

“Several noted that a lot of people left on night one prior to the Banks vs. Belair main event. I wasn’t there and reports varied, but reports as the match started indicated the number was high, and it was very visible right on camera in the early part of the match.”


It’s a huge shame if the report is accurate, because it was a very good match and earned its spot in the main event without doubt.

The Newsletter noted that no-one left during night two’s triple threat main event featuring Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Edge, but that says more about the fans rather than the match quality, which was very high for both matches.

The match appeared to get a good reception so if that happened it had to be a small segment of haters mad at two black women headlining , fukk em, the women in that match are beloved and have a legit it factor so they gotta get over it or , I can be cynical myself but some take it to the extreme and just gotta be miserable, oh well the average fan had an enjoyable experience that night

Cornette shyt all over the match using the "women shouldn't be in the Main Event" excuse. Later on, maybe 10 minutes in the podcast he was talking about Ripley match and I swear he said "I would put EVERYTHING behind her and have her MAIN EVENTING CARDS"

Did you mean 35? The difference there is that every report said exactly the same thing, and you can see people leaving during the match. In this situation every report says something different, and the video says otherwise as well.
