If we’re gonna keep it real, Nakamura’s main roster WWE run in general has been underwhelming so far.
Bell to bell, they got 20:20, all of 20 seconds less than the big Rousey showcase got. Plenty enough time to have a great match that didn’t have any fukkery until after it was done.
WWE didn’t slight them; they heavily pushed this as THE dream match, gave Styles (who the company seems close to all in on being their current roster in-ring gawd) and Nakamura the stage on their most important show of the year to deliver and they just didn’t do it. They put out something... adequate and that’s entirely on them and whoever the agent was.
It wasn't a bad match. The problem is, it was never going to live up to the hype or to their first match, because of the different variables to both matches.
WK match it was pretty much both of their last matches in NJPW, so they put on a show and it was a great send off both. Also NJPW gives it matches time, which the WWE don't always do unless your
