Partner strategically..I mean…it’s what we do.
This also means they are staying on course with gaas. They already have Bungie. When it comes to MMOs NCSoft games were my alternative to WoW. I was pretty deep into Guild Wars and Aion. They also have a mobile presence.

So this article was right about NCsoft and Shift-Up. Sony is also apparently discussing for a partnership with Pearl Abyss and Neowiz.

Yep, because sony is only putting out NCSoft games from this point on.
They doing what Microsoft can’t, expanding their reach into new gaming regions, increasing their gaming marketshare like they did with Europe and the ME in the 90’s.
Sony aren’t playing the same pool generation after generation they are reaching new audience. Thats why they are exclusive with Mihoyo and Microsoft is still figuring out how to sell subscriptions in the US

It’s not a pivot they can walk and chew gum. Sony has made it clear they are expanding the console market into new regions this generation (China, India, Korea, etc) there will be many more partnerships to come
