I'll say this though.....They need to give these athletes some of that money they are making. It's too much money now. The SEC as a whole is making at least 1/2 Billion dollars off of athletics and giving the athletes the same things they've been giving them for decades. It doesn't work anymore. All conferences should be breaking bread with the athletes across all sports now (As they can, and it should be a percentage of what the conferences make overall)
That number isn't accurate. It was 500 million in revenue but that doesn't account for expenses.

Doesn't change your point however.

They just hit Alabama A&M in the past few weeks with a postseason ban for ALL sports through 2017.........Maybe they're finally catching up with everything now.

They'll never hit a major conference school that hard. They always picking on hbcus

You have to add in the fact that schools also have their own merchandising deals, and ticket sales, fundraising, advertising, etc.......Not just that ESPN network alone....

That line of thought meant ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the NCAA when they got in USCs shyt
Nothing in the allegations is near hat level.

Point was that the current regime isn't being cited for nearly what people thought or hoped they would.

Corruption.....man, A&M has been having problems for years finding people who will do things the right way in every area. People get in those high positions at the University and start taking advantage of their situations. Seems like they are always firing somebody for breaking rules whether in athletics or academically. If they keep it up they'll be in trouble keeping their accreditation.

Yep A&M makes State look professional.
I'm surprised they finally got slapped
