You seem to think that 3hrs isn't a problem. One of the big reasons Nitro suffered was because it was 3hrs, and not having the roster or creative team to pull it off hurt them.To each their own, but have no problem with the 3 hour Raw
NFL and college football games are 4 hours long. MLB and NBA games are 2.5-3 hours long.
If you hate it so badly then DVR and an hour in to the show just fast forward through
and before someone chimes in that "the product is stale BECAUSE Raw is 3 hours", That's simply not true. If that excuse had any validity to it then why has 2 hour Smackdown been stale lately? It's all in creative and booking regardless if the show is 2 or 3 hours.
Aside from that this is good news for WWE. They're getting a much bigger deal than the current one for Raw and with Smackdown's ratings not far off from what Raw gets, they will get a great deal for Smackdown on another network desperate for ratings.
One of the big reasons Nitro suffered was because it was 3hrs, and not having the roster or creative team to pull it off hurt them.
WWE has enough talent on the Raw roster alone to do a 6 hour show if they wanted to. Nitro was dealing with the AOL/Time Warner merger and no organization whatsoever.
Again it all boils down to creative. WWE has always been at its best with less people in creative. They'll never do it, but the best thing they could do is get rid of their 60 writers and narrow it down to 4-5 at the most.

Who said that?I thought fake wrestling is dying because ratings???!
Give it up? All you have to do is skip the bullshyt after the show. Please tell me this isn’t true
That 3 hours will make or break them
Trust me nobody wants to watch 3 hours of anything , if it’s still 3 hours I might have to give it up till the next contract
I'd assume if they're going to a different channel, the product would change a little. It should anyway.
