I've never seen an org with more knee-jerk reacting than the Lakers. They panic even more than Sacramento. How is defense an issue when you can have Pau, Dwight, Kobe and Metta on the floor. Granted they can't play 48 minutes, but that's should be able to hold most teams off. They just not hungry right now.

Nash and Pau will be a perfect match. IMO Nash has the right demeanor to motivate Pau, not to mention make both him and Dwight look godlike via assists.

The only threat from the bench is Duhon, dude hitting his threes consistently.

This current team should make the playoffs at worst.

He didn't make a young Dirk look godlike, now at near forty himself he's gonna make a 32 year old, bad knees Pau look godlike? :pachaha:

You seen Nash play under Dantoni's system in Phoenix right? He made Amare Godlike, hell even after Dantoni left he still made Gortat look great!

Pau barely even attempts to make it look like he is playing defense & Kobe only does it when he feels like it. Duhon ain't no threat.

Gortat isn't a bad player & Amare isn't either when he is healthy. As long as you can catch & finish Nash can make you look great. The Lakers problem is spacing on offense. Gasol could run PNR with Nash all day but once he gets to the paint, Howard is there with whoever is covering him & whoever is covering Gasol. Howard & Gasol don't fit together in Antoni's system.

Dwight works best with PFs that shoot the 3, so it could probably work to be honest.

the lakers would be softer but this would give them a stretch 4 that give howard the paint to himself which he likes and would ad depth to the team gasol is old and overpaid at this point this would give the lakers cheaper serviceable players
