I'm sayin' though...Kansas City has a gorgeous new arena with no tenant...and the Kings already have history here...

28 years ago :rudy: Even then it wasn't much. K.C. is no longer a basketball town and it never really was to begin with. Though the Sprint Center is nice.

This is just fukked up as a longtime Kings fan. Every other year since 1992, I've heard the same rumors of the team moving. :heh: @ CA having too many sports teams. There was an article in the Sacramento Bee yesterday saying the Maloofs are $200 million in debt :wtf:

I just wished they sold the team to Ron Berkel (Penguins Owner) . He was planning to build a new Downtown Sacramento arena with his own money and he has star power (Diddy).

Frankly, all of this shyt is like Sonicsgate X10 and the Kings are still in Sac.

Say whert? Why is KC no longer a basketball town?

Ask the locales and the media market there now. The Chiefs and Royals are enough for them. Besides, K.C. is a college basketball town . The college B-Ball hall of fame is next door to the Sprint Center and that building is booked during the NCAA B-Ball season.

Ive heard EVERY possible moving scenario for the Kings and Kansas City has never popped up in the discussion

Ask the media market for what? I live here.

The Cheifs and Royals are not enough, because they suck.

And as you mention - KC is definitely a college basketball town. You think we wouldn't check for NBA ball? If a new arena is the biggest domino that has to drop to get a team, KC should be in the discussion.
