So even in your own post you quote history that correlates with the point that gushing over another player is seen as lame.

:dead:

You dumb to not even think about what you posted.

Have fragile masculinity AND bad comprehension brehs :martin:

I never said anyone was lame. If anything me giving those examples shows it was normal. Yall acting like he cried in real time. THAT would be lame. But he didn’t. Him crying after the fact is like whatever. But players ‘fanning out’ over other players is quite common we just don’t usually hear exactly what they be saying on court or before games. Ie….

I get it. I really do, but it’s can be situational still. Let me paint a picture. Probably the only valid picture in my book. By the way, I didn’t watch the clip so I don’t know why this young man is crying.

Imagine you weren’t highly recruited out of high school. You play JUNCO, get picked up by D2, finally get on to a legit program as the 12th man. You grind your way to become a starter and have a decent career. You don’t get drafted, play overseas but finally get your first camp invite.

You aren’t in the “league” but you get a taste. Finally after the years of grinding. Most players been playing since they were five. 18 years of dedication to your craft.

Finally you get to play a preseason game. You made it. You know you will be cut before the season starts but you get to share the court with your favorite player. It may never happen again.

"Anybody that know Allen Iverson know Black Jesus was it for me. I wanted to be like Mike. I remember the first time seeing him; I couldn’t believe it, man. I ain’t never looked at a person in my life — and I’ve seen millions of celebrities — I never looked at somebody that didn’t look real. Never. Like, the God damn guy was glowing or something, man," Iverson said.

“The first time I ever talked to him was that year, playing in the rookie game,” Iverson said a wide-ranging interview. “I’ll never forget it, because he said, ‘wassup, you little bytch?’ I’ll never forget it. I looked at him like … ‘Aight, man.’

This guy has been on a emotional tour of gratitude since he got into the league. Props to him and I hope he can stick it out in the league

Facts.
People are clowning but it's a Blessing and a privilege to experience something that makes you break down with tears of joy. Good for him.

I don't care about what YOU say.
The athletes responded to it like it was lame because it was. :dead:
And you gave multiple examples. :mjlol:
