Hol' up...isn't Barnes 6-7 or so? And LO 6-10?
That's my Big 3 ('least by late November or so)
White dude knows Dwight is a corny fakkit.
Who the fuk mentioned anything about regular season, thats all smokes and mirrors I'm talkin bout the playoffs.Them folks are just going to be chucking clangers & if bron/posh cant get in position for the rebound thats ityou're over analyzing this. Heat's biggest weakness for years has been their perimeter shooting. Assuming Rashard isn't tossing up bricks from the corner and Ray Allen is a semblance of his old self, there's no downside to this whatsoever. These guys are just to fortify a bench that can finally shoot back with these perimeter heavy teams.
You didn't watch most of the Heats games blood. Howard NEVER played unless it was a blowout or it was garbage time. The WHOLE POINT of adding these guys is so they can stretch the floor. Besides James Jones, Battier, and Chalmers, there were no servicable shooters on this team. None.
Lakers would definitely be a horrible match-up for the Heat, but we have to wait and see how things play out. On paper though, Lakers might be the best complete team in the NBA in years. Again though, Rashard is irrelevant if we're talking starting line-ups.
I remember years back when we played the Magic , and the Heat used Mark Blount to force Howard to come out of the post. The problem that the Lakers are gonna pose is that you can't double them because Kobe or Nash is gonna be wide open. I honestly can't think of any sure fire way to shut down the Lakers. It would just take a bad night from Dwight or something to give them a chance.
What's funny is the teams that match-up the best with the Lakers are pretty much all in the West. I wanna see how the Clippers look this year too.
Charlie Vilanueva Is The Ultimate Relevant, Irrelevant NBA Player
ONly hope they have vs Pau and Dwight is Shard going bonkers from 3 pt line and bosh hitting Elbow J. On defensive Shard and Bosh will get manhandled. Gonna be an interesting seasonLakers would definitely be a horrible match-up for the Heat, but we have to wait and see how things play out.
