How is this even acceptable?

EDIT: 2K need to get ESPN or TNT presentation 'cause EA is putting it to waste.

2K would have to fall on their faces for live to be relevant again.

you could look at the footage and see the game wasn't gonna be good.

Yeah shyt look like straight out the gate. That demo being streamed, I thought dude was I would fire up NBA Inside Drive 2004 before that crap.

Seriously what will it take for EA Sports to get rid of their basketball and Football developers.

EA is a disgrace to sports games. Sony needs to get NBA Shootout going again to give 2K legit competition. Then give us NFL Game day and NFL 2K15 for football next year.

I'm in favor of any company giving 2k some competition to keep them on their toes.

2K's presentation is already top notch. kevin harlan is probably the best play-by-play man in basketball. steve kerr and clark kellogg are also great on there. taking it over the top would be putting kenny/charles/ej on the halftime show tho

At this point live needs to go on hospice care, and let the few talented developers they have go to 2K

I just hope another developer comes out to challenge 2k just to keep this genre competitive

he fact that NBA Live 14 was released, is one of the bigger stories of the year. However at the end of the day its a game that feels like step one in a long road back to relevance. Its a shame that the core basketball game still feels like it needs another couple of years of polish to even come close to its competitors. For now we are left with a solid lineup of features and a game of basketball thats just not worth anyones time.

What happened to the sony NBA games? we need competition in this area so that each of these developers are making better games. 2K won't really step its game up until someone innovates.

Shootout was pretty nice for a few years on PS1. In the Zone by Konami was as well. We used to have so many good basketball games.
