I thought NBA 2k series demolished the Live series a decade ago? I NEVER fukked with the NBA Live series. shyt was a joke.
fukk EA Sports for not releasing their sports games on PC. But the NBA 2K series gets released on PC anyways, so i'm good on the NBA front.

They should just forget about Live and bring back March Madness. Get the gameplay mechanics right first then worry about making a realistic, fully licensed nba game.

Every year a guy who doesn't play Madden will talk about how an outdated average game is better than anything that followed it. 2k5 was an arcadey football game that tried to be MORE LIKE MADDEN but the passing was garbage in that game. And madden was focusing on new defensive abilities which are standard for any football game today. Madden 13 took the genre to new heights, but you wouldn't know about that
Competition is good. 2K can't come into this gen thinking it's safe to do the roster update and tweak game.

Kobe's game was great, introduced basically everyting 2K does well today. You had total control over dribbling. I read the nintendo power mags studying how to do the moves before the game released. With that said, Live predates Hobe. Live was a genesis staple, the SNES versions paled in comparison. I will give you this (even tho you didn't know) I fukked with Kobe's game more but I forgot why? Besides it just being better, Live on PS1 was HORRIBLE. I'm literally having flashbacks while I type. The character models where on some fukkboy shiiit. Let me youtube this...
