Bron's greatest gift is his greatest curse. He's talented enough to bring all of his teammates to places they shouldn't. However, his ability to run an offense doesn't allow for other talented teammates to flourish(in most cases). Everyone has to acquiesce to Bron's game.

Crazy enough as it sounds, more singularly focused players are easier to integrate with.
It’s on the coaching staff to design an offense that keeps the ball moving and the front office to acquire players who can create offense off the dribble so the ball doesn’t have to stay in one player’s hands. Look at the sets the 2011-12 through 2013-14 heat we’re running and you’ll see this. That’s really the only time his coaches have shown any ability to design or implement a structured and effective offense. Silas, brown, spo, blatt, and Lue. These five never have and never will be known for their offensive expertise. They’ve won 4 total playoff series without him, and the best coach he’s played for when not coaching him has more seasons with an offense in the bottom third of the league than in the top ten. Look at he teams with the best offenses in the league. They’re usually the best coached teams in the league.

Im getting sick of kobe bryant, this man missed the most shots in nba history and was second best to shaq for 3 championship rings and is acting all high and mighty. He also wanted to be traded and forced shaq out of the lakers. The arrogance and the temerity to judge bron is pathetic

You’re posting on a site when 80 percent of the posters have never touched a 10 foot rim or excelled in ANY area of life, yet the judge athletes non stop

Why do y’all get mad when a player who is unanimously considered an all time great by the people who matter the most (other players) but y’all give opinions and hate all day long on some sh*t y’all have never done? :mindblown:

You guys always omit the organization and coach in a lot of these so called discussions.... that's very disingenuous..... coaching\gms and playing for a good organization is crucial...
It's impossible for any organization to build around Lebron when he's always looking to jump ship when he feels the deck isn't stacked in his favor.

Bronsexuals are gonna be PISSED at Kobe's comments:laff:

edit: Kobe does say that Boston was the first super team, so you LeThots should like that one at least :russ:
You keep using this term

It is lame af

What are you? A Sexual Warrior? A Bandwagon Bottom? Let it go bro

The people who root for LeBron root for LeBron. The people who root for KD root for KD. This, shockingly to you, is standard.

Anybody who supports LeBron and admires his game -including me- and has an issue with Kobe’s answers is delusional.

If you couldn’t see that his leadership is the one skill that he THOROUGHLY needs to work on you’re blind as a bat.

Kyrie won a ring with him and STILL walked.
He used to treat Chalmers like an intern.
He can mess up the whole energy of the team with his open disdain after every little mistake
His mixed messages of wanting it to be a team (same suits) BUT wanting it to be all about him and each player to be perfect..
His handling of coaches...
Etc etc

Sure, the Warriors are hyperstacked.. that’s the challenge. We got it.

Instead of throwing your players under the bus, lead them and show them what you expect AND back them up when they miss.

Missing is fine, not putting in 100% is not.

Kobe is a 5-time champ, more than anybody on that panel. He thinks 180o differently than anybody on that panel. I wonder why he has more rings.

LeBron’s #1 job is figuring out

‘Why did Kyrie leave, was it me and if so what did I do wrong?’

‘Why does Hood go from 17 in Utah and Clarkson from double digits in LA to completely disappearing?’

Once he can drop his ego and his ‘I’m the best in the world’ we know you are but MJ was too and he was tough on his team BUT he lead them AND trusted them (Paxson, Kerr, Wellington with key game winners).. THEN we can have the conversation about his legacy.

If nobody, except Kobe, is willing to open their mouth - expect more of this.

In the real world you don’t motivate only with fear, you need to give support and truly lead the way for each player

Kobe said it best:

Bryant: You've known me long enough to know what my answer is.

WTF ARE U TALKING ABOUT IDIOT - I WROTE THIS IN 2017

Fact of the matter is, LeBron has always relegated good players to scrubs (Larry Hughes, Antawn Jamison) and great players to role players (Chris Bosh, Kevin Love). Sure, LeBron puts up incredible assist numbers.. however, those numbers have never translated to his teammates’ individual success. In fact, they do the exact opposite. The reason LeBron’s assist numbers are so high is mainly due to the fact that every single play must run through him in what is being popularized as “LeBron Ball“.

Let's be clear about one thing here.

Kobe has never played on a team that would beat these Warriors.
And that includes his years with Shaq.

The Shaq teams would match up the worst. A third scorer who averages 10 points, their two best players not stretching the defense, an offense not designed to shoot 3’s, and their best player being a poor P&R defender who is horrible at the foul line and takes almost all his shots within 10 feet of the rim? That’d get ugly fast.

Ya'll have to understand, Kobe is fighting for his legacy just as much as he's shytting on LeBrons. Even though most people never had Kobe #2 behind Jordan anyway. Only on here is where that happens.

:dwillhuh:

He was at Cleveland for 8 years before he left..... this isn't the 80s where you had players locked in 8 year contracts....... it's much easier to put rosters together with 2 to 3 years now.....

IF LEBRON PLAYED THE RIGHT WAY, HE WOULD TAKE ON THE TOUGH SHOTS WHILE GETTING HIS TEAMMATES THE EASY LOOKS ... HE PLAYS IT SAFE FROM AN INDIVIDUAL STANDPOINT.

ITS OBVIOUS U HATE KOBE, BUT SHAQ DROVE HIMSELF OUT OF LA, AND KOBE ONLY ASKED TO BE TRADED TO FORCE MANAGEMENTS HAND SINCE HE WAS WASTING HIS PRIME ON DEVELOPING DLEAGUE TEAMS.

KOBE WAS ALREADY THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE BY 2001 BTW

Putting the supporting cast around the cornerstone players is supposed to be what comes second anyway since you can always find players willing to play on a smaller deal to win or trade minor assets for role players who fill needs on a team. Look at the 2010-11 heat. Most of the year, their rotation had Carlos Arroyo, Big Z, Erik Dampier, Mike Bibby, James Jones, Joel Anthony, Juwan Howard, and Eddie House in it. By midway through 2012-13, all of them were either retired, out of the league, or completely out of the rotation if they were still in the league. In that span, the heat managed to add Norris Cole, Shane Battier, Rashard Lewis for extra depth, the birdman, and Ray Allen with all of them besides Lewis being regulars in the rotation. Role players can always be acquired later and good ones can frequently be found without having to give out horrible contracts or trading away all your draft picks. The cavaliers front office just doesn’t make good decisions.
