I wouldn't be surprised if Sarver gets golden parachute type deal from the NBA and the owners. Then someone else buys the team or takes over as managing partner.

Most likely Jahm Najafi takes over as the owner or head of the ownership group. He is a billionaire compared to Sarver.

I would mention Larry Ellison as potential owner, but I see him buying the TrailBlazers.

This would be the best year where the NBA should copy the NHL of all leagues and present the Larry O’Brien Trophy to the team captain instead of the owner (especially if it’s the Suns). Sarver can hoist that off camera.
