Sometimes the best moves are the ones that don't happen. People were saying Garland and Mitchell can't play together. Allen and Mobley can't play together.
I was one of those people. Shows what the right coach can do.

I'm still not convinced of the Mobley/Allen pairing.

How? Chet is a more than capable rebounder depending on matchups

I know OKC doesn’t get much televised games but it’s like ppl haven’t watched Chet play, thinking he’s just a tall malnourished cac with no offensive game or tenacity

What we saw with Cleveland’s 2 big system is basically what OKC has. Chet is their Mobley, Hartestein is their Jarret Allen.

But it’s about them getting the reps in

Maaan if Mobley can play at that level as a late game go-to guy…

That’s gonna be tough for any team in either conference
Yep, I like his confidence this year. He wouldn't have gotten that shot last year whether the offense wouldn't have allowed him to do that or just his confidence not being there just yet. That'll come in handy for that monster they face in Boston in the playoffs, you need options offensively.

Yea, imo they’ll go as far as that big to big offense can take them because there’s definitely going to be some playoff games vs Boston where Mitchell and Garland are gonna have Jaylen, Jru, Derrick White locked in on them like Dort, Wallace, and Shai were with the refs allowing physicality, so if the jumpers aren’t falling, they’ll need Mobley (and Allen) to put in work
