They should’ve been started an NBA Europe. The EuroLeague teams aren’t producing like they used to and aren’t capitalizing on the popularity of basketball which is huge amongst the young cats. Put a team in every major city, mandate squads have to be 50% EU citizens and the popularity would explode.

Probably a lower level league ..Below NBA level but around Europe’s level.

So when guys like D12,Boogie,Kemba or whoever start to fade away they’ll have a place with NBA branding to play overseas instead of going to Taiwan or whatever .

Also have NBA rules so you can see which Euro players game could translate over here to our game
what difference would it make? Once they're out of the league, we're not worried about them.

If they even go to G-League we stop caring.

producing talent for the NBA is not their job. That's for their B and C leagues to put together. The NBA going over there doesn't necessarily solve that unless you want the NBA to have an international version of the Ignite.

It’s not for us..the whole reasoning for this is presumably to grow the game which is why those bigger names go overseas in the first place..bc those clubs want the name value .

They may feel having former stars grow the game in Taiwan or New Zealand is a waste of time when London,Milan and Amsterdam for example could provide larger benefits over time .

Countdown to Ice Cube saying this is a direct attack on the big three.

Nobody said anything about producing talent for the NBA.

I wouldn't mind another "G League" as a type of secondary league for them based in Europe against the competition there

But to have the actual NBA teams continually go back and forth in Europe to have games there, not sure that would work

Just have a 2-3 week tournament based in Europe where all of the teams are there for the duration.

You just said the Euroleague teams aren't producing the way they used to. How would adding another league change this?
Should be building up basketball in the UK first.
I do think London would be involved in something like this.

I'm still tryna figure out if the league the NBA has in Africa is producing anything worthwhile.

Well, they better just keep thinking. Cause unless it's a Collaboration with the existing bodies that run Ball in Europe. It ain't happening.
