That’s you though; you’re irrelevant since you’re going to watch anyway. They’re not worried about you. The numbers these influencers are putting up are crazy. This ain’t any different from the NFL parading Taylor Swift every chance they get; they’re looking for the audiences that weren’t already gonna watch, particularly the young crowd.
Its not a new strategy used by the league. The nba recently had a commercial partnership with Kai cenat and druski if I recall correctly. For the same reasons, to grow the visibility and brand of the league among young kids and teenagers, the international crowd and other non traditional audiences.
