Reasons -Explain to me why the TV ratings for the NFL are still higher than ever, even after the presence of the internet/social media/multi cable channel tv/endless entertainment options
The nfl is the only sports league who can get massive ratings on tv, other sports can’t do it
Is it the Sunday factor? The fact that playoff football games are on Sundays, on free over the air channels available to everybody? I know the nba is on tnt(cable channel)
Halftime show/commercials for the casuals?
Being mostly on Sunday
Every game matters
Fantasy Football
Big thing that goes overlooked is college football. The hype and brand building from CFB carries over to the NFL where you see the CJ Stroud's of the world go from crushing it in Columbus to helping Houston get back on track. The rookies are well known instead of a bunch of Euros you barely know or one & dones that need like 2 or 3 years of seasoning.
Postseason NBA is great but the regular season is a drag unless you've got some elite team trying to win 65+ games.
