Commercial was dope. Its hard to get everyone for these type of things and they had a decent roster with who they had

50th season was a big deal to me as a kid because that's when i started to learn about the history of the game. They started trotting out all the old players for tributes for all star weekend. One of the only times I saw Wilt live on tv. Even NBA Live had just started adding Decades Teams to the games. That was a long time ago and it's great to alot of those same faces alive and well in this ad. Should be great season for the GOAT game:salute:

Dude has always been involved with the league, legendary college and pro player/champion obviously, face of a historic franchise’s most notable run, was an announcer, coach, GM, team/league owner even. One of the few guys from his era who never shyts on the generations after him. Dynamic play style and personality, enthusiasm for the game. May very well be the truest rags to riches story in the history of the game. I remember reading his book and breh never even knew what a grape tasted like until he was an adult. All the young guys respect Isiah.

I know this shyt was off topic and definitely he deserves his own thread, but it kinda just hit me as I was watching the commercial.

Lol this made me feel dumb for a second I thought you were talking bout his son named zeke thinking to myself I know basketball heads know if his son but more synonymous than Mj or magic. Isiah is a great representative for the league though able to talk about his generation without saying this generation sucks. Wish his Knicks run was better couldn’t care less about the knicks but was rooting for him to succeed.
