Yes, go for it. I like what they did with MY GM ERA mode, it's new and different and you get Jordan Challenges, etc.

I keep letting the shot stick get to the top of the meter and miss every time, this shyt is unbearable
Turn the meter off (you get a boost for it) & learn your player/teams animations. I run with the '03-'04 Lakers & present day Clippers 99% of the time and shoot over 52 - 55% on jumpers alone. The key is finding a release point in the controller settings option that works well for you. Some swear by Early, but I've found Late works best for me (you simply release at the moment just before the shooter flicks their wrist.) Once you figure it out, the game becomes a lot more simple.
Also, make sure you're getting good shots (turn on shot feedback. ) It'll tell you how you timed it and the amount of coverage the defense had on you at the time of the shot. Your stamina, distance from the rim in relation to your players profiency from any given range, and the defensive intensity all play a role.
I do want to buy it again on PS5 (have it on XSX) but I’m gonna wait until the finals when they drop that shyt down to like $10 or less…$23 isn’t bad tho
that worked initially…I can’t remember if it was you or someone else who mentioned it…it was great advice at the time and the first time ever that I played the game w/o the meter…added a whole new level of realism to the games and it really made me learn my team…unfortunately at some point 2k did some shyt and fukked it up…even tho I knew the sweet spot for literally every player on my team as far as when to release a jumper, it became impossible to hit shots especially 3s…completely ruined the game for me…I thought it was me…but when I turned the meter back on, it was clear the CPU was cheating me on shots bcuz a lot of times my release was perfect or damn near perfect and my shyt was bricking smh

This 2K My Career story don't make sense to me at all.
Why the fukk they hyped up between me and Shep Owens in the draft and crazy about us over dumb ass beef when we're damn 16th pick and 17th pick in first round? They act like we're 1st pick and 2nd pick
Why the fukk GM wanna trade me when I staying dropped heat crazy numbers in games like 55 Pts, 21 reb, won some games, etc but yet this mfer GM still wanna trade me
Why the fukk hater annoying ass whack former basketball player, Kendrick Perkins talking shyt on me when I dropped heat crazy numbers like I had 67 pts, etc but yet this mfer said my game is trash

I'm in the story where I need 3 times teammate Grade A- or higher (limit 5 games chance) if I failed so punk ass GM will trade me and I got deal with Uncle Bobby after I got shoe deal endorsement with Adidas and will have me to me to do in TV commercial . I've played 17 games so far
