We got a discord with a decent amount of coli heads who run rec daily. Getting burnt out of this game tho. It's either a blow out in your favor or you getting blown out by a zone team who lunges 20 feet into every passing lane
But I love basketball So I keep signing on for the pain
same…gonna play one more shortened season (myleague) then take a break…it’s getting to the point where I can peep all the weird little glitchy things the CPU does to try and eek out a win
I was playing yesterday, a regular NBA Today game Memphis vs Miami. I get a steal and I pass it to Tyus Jones and he has a few steps on Bam Adebayo. Bam catches up to me, then like magic, he warps in front of me and makes me stop running and I had to pass the ball away

I think it’s because when you go to sliders and down to Movement, the speed/acceleration with the ball is at 60/30 (max and min rating) while the speed without the ball is at 75/35 (max/min) which allows defenders to catch up to you easier.
The main issues with this game lack of fast breaks, too difficult to make a contested jump shot, and defenders stick to you or impede your movement too easily. CPU also anticipates passes way too much. I don’t mess with sliders too much, but this is what I did:
All shooting sliders at 50 for user and CPU
Body Up Sensitivity at 40
Speed/Acceleration with ball 70/30
Speed Acceleration without ball 75/30
Will probably tweak the defense sliders because the shot and layup contests are way too strong
Also, I noticed the CPU defensive awareness, if you drop it to 40, you get more open shots and less of those steals by the CPU. Some might find that too easy though.

in a recent game, a player on the other team was cutting to the basket…I stole the ball…like could literally see the player’s hand snag the fukking ball…CPU said “nah I really want that basket” and the ball just disappeared into the cutting player’s hand for a quick layup lmao…I don’t wanna get started on phantom rebounds where I clearly have a player boxed out go up for the ball, grab it with both hands but then some wizardry occurs and the other player ends up with the ball smh

Get 2k23 even if just for the Jordan Challenges and MyEra modes. You can’t spend an extra $5?GS got it for $25 right now
But theh also got 2k22 75th anniversary edition for $20
Which one should I cop?
2k20 pissed me off and I haven’t played since but I kinda miss this cheating ass game
Nah the $5 ain’t the problem, I just figured even tho it’s the previous year, the 75 year edition was more like the deluxe edition while the other was just the regular one
Bought the Jordan edition when it was half off. first 2k I’ve played in idk how long. I’m enjoying the game overall.
