NBA 2K21 Next gen trailer

Can’t lie just watched the trailer in 4K and I’m impressed animation was a bit choppy especially during the Hardaway drive and the skin color for darker players could be more realistic but it does look like a step up.

Looks like they’re focusing on little presentation things as well. In current gen the cheerleaders during TO randomly appear but in the birdseye shot in the trailer you see them running onto the court.

I've told my tale about how I influenced the beginning of the 2k series when it was still with sega. I felt they stopped evolving once they went full 2k sports.

This is the first time I see true evolution (well 2k6 added real player shots but that was an obvious evolution) but this is what I hoped they beefed up CPUs would bring to the table, smarter Ai. That will put these games in different categories and sports games might become fun again like super mega baseball be
