Why can't we offer max contracts to players. Then figure out how to shed the space for them to sign? Why do we have to make space, and then offer them the max? What if they don't even agree to join? Now I just traded away quality players for a dude who didn't even wanna come here.
And of course, there's no logic in the simulation. A random ass team like the Hawks can win the finals and you look at their roster and trae young isn't even on it, and the roster is filled with role players
