What's the difference in NBA Live's career mode?

no goofy ass cutscenes

No goofy ass unbelievable story

NO VC

You get to switch between playing your NBA games for the team who drafted you, or if you want a break from the league you can hop on World Tour which has real street ball courts from around the world. Honestly that’s my favorite thing about Live. Im kind of a hoop head and I love the culture of the game & I think Live captures that. I forgot who said it on here, but it’s like 2K was designed and made for 12 year old suburban kids while Live was made by dudes who actually hoop

If they wanna make so much from VC, what do they even need a brand new game every yr for (besides even more money of course)? Seems like they could do much more just putting out a platform instead of a new game every yr, and just iterating on it with seasons/expansions like a Destiny. I don't play service games tho outside of COD, so idk how viable it actually is. @Rekkapryde how would this hit your pockets breh?

Man I love this game right now. Computer only plays realistically if you start on All Star (if u need to change sliders to make it harder).

I ain't played too many online head to head games so I'm speaking strictly quick play vs the CPU and My Career (just started my shyt yesterday, never been really into that shyt). I love the ball handling this year, this is the most responsive it has ever been.

YOU CAN FINALLY MAKE CONTESTED AND DIFFICULT LAYUPS WITH REGULARLY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 7+ YEARS, MAYBE THE FIRST TINE EVER LOW KEY .

I’m gearing up to start myleague in 2k20...haven’t played that mode at all this year...only played mycareer and against cats online...but if some user reviews come out and I hear good things then I might just say fukk it and get it for PS5 and play myleague on that

didn’t realize they already have reviews on metacritic...nah fukk this shyt...I’m sitting out...I’m already gearing up to trade madden 21...thank goodness I bought a physical copy since I was skittish about the game...the competitiveness of league play is fun but the game has so many damn faults even down to the damn song selections...game is ass...not gonna waste my time with 2k this year

what I mean is how much better can you make a game if it's the same game?
nba 2k22 is going to be a basketball game but with a new roster and then nba 2k23 is going to be the same thing
the only thing they can improve is how it feels and maybe some new gimmicky features?
same thing w/ COD
how many more COD games can they make?
they still gonna make those the gen after next gen?

...and what I mean is if it was just a matter of it “being the same game” then the scores wouldn’t drop so drastically...so again that’s not really the point/contention here

the biggest complaint seems to be that they’re making even more of a shift to micro-transactions...and nickel and diming folks for even more shyt than they did in the last game...this was also noticeable with the jump from 19 to 20...where they were making you pay for shyt in 20 that was free in 19
