Dunno why people are still in disbelief and upset by the ai in MyCareer. From day one, 2K has clearly coded it in such a manner in order to artifically attempt to put the player at a disadvantage for the sake of getting close games. They've never been interested in making the teams ai competent or on the same level as the opponents ai. It's terrible, its lazy, but it's nothing new. I haven't touched the mode since maybe 2014, but they've always handicapped your teammates (especially on the higher difficulties) while programming the opposite side to resemble actual ball players. Knowing this, why anyone would play that mode on higher difficulties is beyond me. There's nothing fun about it at that point.
