Most of the 2K community doesn't care tbh, a lot of people are attacking Angry Joe and more for calling out 2K's greed.

Because these dudes like Joe, the asian, the clean prince dude all just trend hop on whatever controversy is going on with the same phony outrage and they barely do any research on said topic. First off they are presenting the one mode as if its a total representation of the entire game. Myteam has been a money pit for years so all the pouty face and screaming over this is corny. Second, the reason they get away with that and its not considered gambling is because 2k, like other companies, has a stupid convoluted currency system where you have the option of earning the MT points to get packs and other crap. Yes you can buy it with real world money via VC but the MT points you can't so 2k has the out with hey you earn this in game by playing so its not technically straight gambling/loot boxes. Its dirty but hey don't like it don't buy it. This dudes losing their minds over gaming which at the end of the day is trivial and also optional is lame

The motion improvement is the biggest 2K gameplay jump EVER. You could never move this well on offense and counter everything defensively like this year. This will be the GOAT 2k if the gameplay stays the same.


I CAN FINALLY USE ALL THE STEP JUMPSHOTS , they finally work after 7+ years of having them.

Yea. This shyt feels fluid. I feel the weight of my guy, and the movement, and dribbling feels more natural. Only a couple things tho. It feels like they slowed the game down quite a bit. And, idk if it's just me, but it's like when I cross defenders it feels like the game is doing like an "invisible push off" for me. I can't lie, I felt like I was shifting nikkas TOO hard! But it's coo so far.
And the bolded could be more true, half the time it was hella hard to even pull off

Honestly I wish they would fully add the G-League into the game, especially for my league/ mygm. It would help with sending rookies/young players down there if I don't have a use for them on the main roster (Also if I have talented prospects I don't want to go to another team). They already have the euro years with the rookies so this should be easy to implement. Maybe they are saving it for the new Xbox/PS5.

They need to implement sign and trades.

It would be cool if we could edit the team management so it reflects how good/bad management is for each team. It would make my league more realistic and challenging.

They could do a better job with coaching and staff. Too many of the coaches and other staff are generic. Especially if you play 10+ years into myleague/mygm.


Edit: They can definitely improve the trading system in mygm/myleague. Its too limited and doesn't reflect how big trades are executed in the NBA.

Yeah I don't play NBA2k for myplayer or myteam. I only play myleague and mygm. I just avoid those game modes.
